The Kenwood NX-P1000 ProTalk Series Two Way Radios were introduced by Kenwood in August, 2020 as replacement models for the Kenwood TK-2000 and TK-3000 series analog two way radios. Kenwood NX-P1000 two way radios are offered in 2 & 5 watt models and in both UHF and VHF. The Kenwood NX-P1000 is offered in analog, DMR digital, and NXDN digital modes. Kenwood NX-P1000 series two way radios are built to exceed Military specifications for durability and water resistance and are protected by a 3 year warranty. Kenwood NX-P1000 Series two way radios share the same batteries, chargers, and audio accessories as the walkie talkies they replaced, Kenwood ProTalk TK Series radios.

Are the new Kenwood NX-P1000 series two way radios field programmable? Yes, you can program some features via the radio itself. Advanced features will require programming software.
Can I use both Analog and Digital frequencies on the same radio?
