The Standard Horizon CMP31 (RAM3+) is a remote station microphone designed to work with select Standard Horizon fixed mount radios. The CMP31 allows you to remotely control a Standard Horizon Fixed Mount Radio saving you the cost of adding a second fixed mount radio. Standard Horizon RAM3+ remote station microphones include a full dot matix display and have programmable keys to make operating your fixed mount radio remotely simple and fast. You'll also be able to power up/down your radio and can use all DSC functions including Distress.

Which Standard Horizon Fixed Mount Radios will the CMP31 work with? You can use the Standard Horizon CMP31 with these Standard Horizon Fixed Mount Radios. GX1600, GX1700, GX2000, GX2100, GX2150, GX2200, & GX5500S.

Why use a Standard Horizon RAM3+ instead of buying a second fixed mount radio? Typically the second station is just used for monitoring and emergencies. A remote station microphone provides both of these functions without the cost of a fixed mount radio as well as well as taking up less space.

Is the Standard Horizon CMP31 easy to install?  Yes, you'll need a drill and a phillips head screw driver.
