Wired Fox Flex Range Extender - Digital Single Frequency Repeater

Our Flex Range Extender is a single frequency repeater that's designed to provide customers with 20-30% more coverage than you're experiencing using handheld two way radios alone.  The Flex Range extender is ideal for churches, schools, nursing homes, hotels, and other medium sized facilties who need just a little more range.  Flex Range Extenders can be programmed to work with UHF, VHF, & MURS two way radios operating in digital mode.  Our Flex Range Extender can also be used as an additional walkie talkie.  Flex Range Extenders broadcast at 10 watts of power and include a battery backup.  

Two Way Radio range is limited by the line of site, the height of your antenna, and possibly other radio users in the same area.  Your Range Extender increases the range of of your talk channels.  It is important to place your antenna high as the higher the antenna, the greater you'll extend your range.  Additionally, the closer you place your Flex range extender to the center point of your facility, the greater overall coverage you'll get.  

Your Flex Range Extender will have to be programmed to match up to your existing digital two way radios.  It is best for you to send in one of your existing two way radios so we can pair and test before shipping your order.  In some cases, we may be able to pull the information from your walkie talkies over the phone or after you order online.  Confirming and programming your frequency is part of your purchase price.

What is the difference between this and a traditional repeater?  Most repeaters require two different frequencies to operate where this one uses one.  This is a plug and play device, your existing digital two way radios do not have to be reprogrammed.  

What is the realistice increase in range we'll receive using the Flex Range Extender?  You can expect 20-50% more coverage using the Flex Range Extender.  Please note, the higher the antenna and the more centrally located the product, the better coverage you can expect.  

Can I add more than one range extender?  We do not recommend daisy chaining the product but it can be done.  The further apart the devices are the better they work when multiple range extenders are in use on the same frequency.
