Is there really unlimited range with these walkie talkies?  Our Nationwide LTE Walkie Talkies use the AT&T 4 G Data network.  If AT&T has coverage so do you.  You'll notice the radios have an antenna at the top - this antenna provides better reception than a traditional cell phone so you'll have better range than your phone.  You can also connect these devices to your WiFi network and communicate over WiFi.  This feature can be used anywhere in the World.  We've seen radios communicate from Florida to South Africa using WiFi.  These are not satellite radios.  

Why do our radios use AT&T versus all carriers?  You've probably heard carriers advertise "bring your own device" and this is how some advertise that their radios work better than others who only use one carrier.  AT&T has coverage where 97% of Americans use their cell phones and this is increasing weekly so the reality is one carrier is sufficient.  Using a multi-carrier SIM creates problems for you we like to avoid.  See, the device doesn't just switch from carrier to carrier, you have to restart your device to access the other carrier and you don't know which carrier you're connecting to so you could end up connected to a lesser carrier.  There's another catch... these new push to talk over cellular devices aren't certified by use by all cellular carriers.  Carriers boot uncertified devices from their networks all the time.  Our radios are certified by AT&T for use on their Networks.  You can use our devices without having to reboot or worry about them being booted from a network.  

Your Competitor Advertises No Monthly Fees or Subscriptions Ever.  Can you match this?  When you get to the fine print you'll find there's an annual charge per device to continue using.  Call it what you like... it's a subscription.  You pay the annual subscription, the radios work.  Don't pay it... they don't work. 

How long does it take to activate my radios?  We will ship your radios activated and ready to work.  Your devices will be named Unit 1, 2, 3, ect... You can request us to customize those names for no additional charge.  Most orders ship the next business day and arrive 2-3 days later.  

Can I return these if I don't like them?  Yes, we offer 30 day returns for product which is new in the box and includes all packaging.  You'll be responsible for the return freight.  Orders are not accepted after 30 days.  Product returned in used condition will be charged a restocking fee of up to 50% based on the condition of the product.  Radios scratched may not be returned.  

What happens if towayradiocenter.com goes out of business?  We've been in business since 2012 and don't plan on going anywhere.  Our radios and the platform which controls is them are manufactured by Hytera.  You'd be able to reach out to them to make future plans.  Note, your service with us is prepaid for 2 years.  We buy the service from Hytera and AT&T in the same increments.  

Where are your Nationwide LTE Walkie Talkies Made?  Hytera two way radios are currently manufactured in China.  

Where is your customer service?  Our Team is based in Greer, SC.  Our Office Hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST weekdays.  We have Technical Resources on call 7 days a week.  If you're experiencing outages please reach out via our online Chat Tools and we'll respond typically within a few hours between the hours of 6 AM and 9 PM EST.  

I want to use my radios in a foreign country, can I?  Yes.  The easiest way to do this is to buy a SIM card in the Country you are visiting and insert it in your walkie talkies.  Restart the device and you're ready to go.
