Motorola RLN4941 Receive Only Surveillance Earpiece

The Motorola RLN4941 is a receive only earpiece designed to be used with Motorola Shoulder Mics with a 3.5mm audio jack.  Motorola RLN4941 surveillance earpieces do not include a push to talk button.  These earpieces are popular with Law Enforcement Officers, Private Security Professionals,and others looking to monitor radio traffic privately.  The Motorola RLN4942 is UL approved for use in hazardous environments when used with UL approved speaker mics and two way radios.  The Motorola RLN4941 is protected by a one year replacement warranty.

Is this earpiece compatible with all Motorola Speaker Micrphones?  Generally, yes.  There are some lower end speaker mics which may have a 2.5mm audio jack.  This earpiece is not compatible with those.  

Can I use this earpiece with other devices with a 3.5mm audio jack?  Yes, the Motorola RLN4941 can be used with other devices.  

Is there a microphone on the Motorola RLN4941?  No, this is a receive only earpiece.
