Is the Motorola RDV5100 right for me? The Motorola RDV5100 is an excellent two way radio for those working outdoors.  Forest Rangers, Landscapers, Nurseries, and other wide area jobsites benefit from the extended range provided by a 5 watt two way radio. 

Is the Motorola RDV5100 waterproof?  No, the RDV5100 isn’t waterproof.  That said, it is designed to be used in moisture rich environments and can be used in the rain.  If you find you’ve saturated the radio, it is best to turn it off and allow it to dry for a day before powering it back on. 

Can I program the Motorola RDV5100 to work with my existing two way radios?  The answer depends on your two way radios.  Give us a call and  we’ll walk through this with you and offer suggestions. 

How much distance with the Motorola RDV5100 cover?  The Motorola RDV5100 will cover a Super Walmart and its parking lot.  Ideally, we suggest you consider the Motorola RDU4100 if your facility is larger than a typical Walgreens drug store.
