Motorola RDM2070d 2 Watt 7 Channel MURS Two Way Radio

Twowayradiocenter.com does not offer the Motorola RDM2070d for sale.  This page is strictly for informational purposes.  We do offer a number of two way radios which are fully compatible with the Motorola RDM2070d.

The Motorola RDM2070d is manufactured by Motorola exclusively for Walmart Corporation and is not available for sale to the general public.  The Motorola RDM2070d is a 2 Watt VHF two way radio using MURS frequencies.  

The Motorola RDM2070d two way radio uses MURS frequencies and is compatible with the Motorola RMM2050.  The Motorola RDM2070d is also compatible with any two way radio programmed to FCC License Free MURS frequencies and can be used interchangeably.  Please note, the Motorola RDM2070d and the Motorola RMM250 two way radio will have to be programmed to work together.  This is an easy step that takes about five minutes over the phone.

Motorola RLN6307 RDX Series Belt Clip.  This is the standard belt clip for the Motorola RDM2070d.

Motorola RLN6351 RDX Series Standard Replacement Battery .  This is the standard battery that ships with the Motorola RDM2070.  You can expect 8-10 hours of battery life using the Motorola RLN6351 battery.

Motorola RLN6308 RDX Series High Capacity Battery.  This high capacity battery will give you up to 20 hours of battery life when using the Motorola RDM2070d.

Motorola RLN6423 C Style Headset.  This is Motorola's most popular headset and is the standard headset used by Walmart Associates with their RDM2070d two way radios.  The RLN6423 can be worn on either ear.

Motorola 56517 D Ring Headset.  This is Motorola's second most popular headset and has been used in Wamart stores for many, many years.

Motorola HKLN4477 Surveillance Style headset.  The Motorola HKLN4477 is very popular with store security and management.

Motorola RLN6304 RDX Series Two Hour Charging Tray.  This 2 Hour Quick Charging tray will not overcharge your Motorola RDM2070d.  

Motorola RLN6307 RDX Six Port Charging Station.  The RLN6307 will charge six Motorola RDM2070d using one plug.  This charger provides a quick 3 hour charge and will not overcharge your RDM2070d two way radios.

Motorola RDM2070d Frequency Chart

The above chart is representative of the Factory Default Settings on Motorola RDM2070d walkie talkies. Walmart and Sam's Club locations use Motorola RDM2070d on MURS frequencies.  The Motorola RDM2070d is built exclusively for Walmart by Motorola and is not available for sale through any other avenue.  The default settings are different on the Motorola RMM2050 but the two units can be programmed to work together. In order to use your own two way radio with a Motorola RDM2070d the Frequency and Privacy Code must be identical. You must have a Motorola RDM2070d in front of you to verify which Frequencies and Privacy Codes are being used on each individual channel.

If you are trying to program a Motorola RMM2050 to a Motorola RDM2070d the channel configuration is slightly different.

Frequency 1 on the Motorola RMM2050 is the same as Frequency 3 on the Motorola RDM2070d.

Frequency 2 on the Motorola RMM2050 is the same as Frequency 4 on the Motorola RDM2070d.

Frequency 3 on the Motorola RMM2050 is the same as Frequency 7 on the Motorola RDM2070d.

Frequency 4 on the Motorola RMM2050 is the same as Frequency 8 on the Motorola RDM2070d.

Frequency 5 on the Motorola RMM2050 is the same as Frequency 9 on the Motorola RDM2070d.

The frequencies found on the Motorola RDM2070d are all License Free MURS Frequencies.  Any VHF Two Way Radio which can be programmed to work on MURS Frequencies will work with the Motorola RDM2070d.
