The IP100C has been discontinued and replaced by the ICOM IP1100CV.

The ICOM IP1000C Wireless Network Controller is the brain box for ICOM Two Way Radios designed to be used over Wireless Networks.  The ICOM IP1000C can be configured to work with your existing Wireless Network or can be used independently.  One ICOM IP1000C Controller can manage up to 100 ICOM Wireless Network Equipped Two Way Radios.

What is the difference between the ICOM IP1000C and a two way radio repeater?  the ICOM IP1000C can be used to create a wireless network for two way radios or it can be connected to your existing wireless network to create much larger talk areas.  Connect buildings on the same campus, across town, or even across the world wirelessly. 

How many two way radios will the ICOM IP1000C Wireless Network Controller Manage?  Up to 100 radios per controller and you can connect up to 11 IP1000C Controllers to expand your capabilities. 

Will the ICOM IP1000C Wireless Network Controller talk to our existing traditional two way radios?  No.  These units use entirely technology and will not communicate with legacy two way radios.
