TwoWayradiocenter.com offers the Midland MD612i VHF Off Road Racing Bundle as a plug and play mobile two way radio solution for Off Road Enthusiasts.  The Hytera MD612i Off Road Racing Bundle includes one Hytera MD612i digital mobile two way radio with installation kit, 1 18" VHF antenna, and 22 feet of RG58U COAX Cable.  The Hytera MD612i Off Road Racing Bundle includes everything you need to install and use the radio.  Hytera MD612i Digital VHF Mobile Walkie Talkies are a favorite among outdoor enthusiasts.  We reguarly see them installed in Jeeps, UTV's, 4 Wheelers, and Dune Buggies.  Your Hytera MD612i Off Road Racing Radio Bundle will be programed to FCC License Free MURS Frequencies by default.  Custom programming is available for a nominal fee.  NOAA Weather Frequencies can also be added to the units.

Will the Hytera MD612i Off Road Racing Radio Bundle work with two way radios made by other Manufacturers?  Yes, assuming you're trying to match up to VHF radios.  We can match to other VHF two way radios, we just need to know the frequency and privacy codes.  Please note, you may need to do some programming which is done via a computer and a ICOM programming cable.  

What is the realistic range of the Hytera MD612i Off Road Racing Radio Bundle?  Range is dependent on a number of factors outside of our control including terraine, population density, and the number of obstructions between radios.  The more rural of an area you are, the more line of sight range you'll get.  Also note, the higher your antenna is, the better the range you'll get.  You'll find greater range and better audio quality when using the digital frequencies.  

Can I use handheld two way radios with the Hytera MD612i?  Yes, we offer both handheld radios and base stations to work alongside the Hytera MD612i Off Road Racing Radio.  

Is an FCC License required to use the Hytera MD612i Off Road Racing Radio Bundle?  No, we have programed these radios to work on FCC License Free MURS frequencies.  

Does the Hytera MD612i Off Road Racing Radio Bundle come with installation instructions?  No, because there are many variables based on the type of vehicle you'll be installing the unit on.  You'll simply decide where to mount the antenna, where to mount the radio, and then run the power supply to the battery.
